The Mauritzhof Hotel is the only hotel in Münster located on the Promenade, the "green belt" surrounding the city's historicals district. Qiuet, but at the same time centrally located with only a short walking distance from the university, cathedral, theatre, bank, and inviting shopping streets. 

 

Art permeates the cityscape: Claes Oldenburgs's "Giant Pool Balls" made from plastic is only one of the spectacular works adorning the streets ans squares of Münster. The turquoise colour Aasee Lake is an oasis in the middle of the city inviting its inhabitants to take a walk or simply to relax. In the evening, big city distractions abound: An avant garde sceneof restaurants and clubs has established itself at the "Kreativkai" complex in the Münster Harbour area adding a touch of pizzazz and class to going out.

 

Münster's history dates back more than a thousand years. Regarded as a living cultural centre and Germany's cycling capital - there is still so much more that this city has to offer. Expect the unexpected!
